Course Overview

Since the introduction of the Remotely Piloted Aircraft Systems (RPAS), a lot of functions that used to be carried out using manual systems and other forms of technology have been taken over by the RPAS. ATC Initial Controller Training

Course Overview

This course introduces participants to Air Traffic Services (ATS) in general and develops the fundamental skills and theoretical knowledge required before progressing to rating-specific courses (i.e ICAO 052 Aerodrome Control Course, ICAO 053 Approach Procedural Control Course, ICAO 054 Approach/Area Surveillance Control, ICAO 055 Area Procedural Control Course). It is structured in accordance with the standards prescribed in ICAO Annex 1 and ICAO Doc. 10056.

Safety Management

Course Overview

Occasionally, staff are exposed to stressful incidents that leave them devastated and require an intervention to recover. The Critical Incident Stress Management course is designed to present the core elements of a comprehensive, systematic and multi-component crisis intervention curriculum. This three day course prepares participants to understand a wide range of crisis intervention services including Group and Individual Crisis Intervention techniques. The need for appropriate follow up services and referrals when necessary is also described. This course will prepare you to provide support to individuals and groups following exposure to adverse events in the work place. The goal is to keep strong, healthy and productive staff.

Course Overview

The aim of this course is to give aviation professionals the communication skills they need in order to achieve their goals by improving non-routine English vocabulary, listening, pronunciation and fluency to better express themselves and have confidence when speaking with pilots and air traffic controllers from around the world. Online English programs will meet students’ needs. The students will receive an organized and structured program that has been designed to ensure success. By the end of the program the students will be more effective communicators, more confident, and closer to reaching their career goals.

  • This course is tailored-made specifically for aviation professionals to reach a higher level on the ICAO English operational requirements. This course is focused on improving listening, speaking and gaining confidence in English, considering the six dimensions described by the ICAO: pronunciation, structure, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension, and interaction.
  • This course uses a blended approach. Blended learning refers to the combination of self-study and classroom learning. In a blended classroom students use authentic material outside of class to prepare for an active learning experience in the classroom.
